Setting up my laptoo

I just got my first laptop. Not using it for gaming. But its a Lenovo idea pad 3. It comes with windows 11 pro I believe.
Before setting up my laptop, whats the best way to be as private as possible when setting up windows. I know u can go to settings and turn off those settings. But I think they will still collect something.
And uninstalling any bloatware etc.
I guess when u first start your laptop its going to ask to set up an account. I want to avoid that.
Any suggestions or a good youtube video link would be great as well.
I don't want to go all out using certain programs that I could mess up my laptop.

For the part where you want to avoid setting up an account on initial setup (you mean the microsoft account right?) I usually use below steps

TLDR:
1) when setup asks for network connection press shift-F10 to get cmd prompt
2) taskmgr.exe
3) Endtask "network connection flow".

Once setup has no connection it will not ask you to create an account.

Note: Windows will periodically (like once a month?) ask you to "complete setup", make sure to press "skip" or "cancel" or whatever else it says. If you press "next" i have no idea how to get out of the next screen (ctrl-alt-del at this point does nothing, there is no "back").

Windows has a universal setup and nothing much you can do to increase your privacy unless you plan to install third party Apps.

Use private browse feature, Enable Windows Defender Firewall, etc are some good steps.

You are right about removing bloatware. Bloatware can slow down and laptop.It can even hang your laptop while working.

Why my brand new laptop freezes occasionally?

Always update the Windows and other Apps installed. It will keep your laptop smooth and fast. A pending Windows update can freeze your laptop in the middle of a critical work.
