SEVERE Lag with GeForce3 Ti200 during games... BIOS Problem? Software?

I currently run a game called Counter-Strike on an MSI GeForce3 Ti200 ViVo with 128 MB DDR on an Athlon XP 1900+, MSI KT3 Ultra-ARU, and 512 MB PC2700 DDR. The problem I'm having is that I've used the exact same video card on my now dead Athlon 1100, MSI K7T Turbo Limited Edition and have been getting MUCH better framerates. I pushed down the resolution from 1152x864, and it still lags just as badly. I have no idea what's happened and am greatly confused :|

I just noticed that this lag is apparent in everything that the GeForce3 does... I'm going to go install the beta drivers to see if that helps any.

Are you overclcoking? AGP rate in spec?
AGP set to 4x or 2x? Try both
AGP fast write on or off in bios? Try both
AGP size in bios? Try 128 or 64 or 256 (in that order)
Driver versions? Try latest 30+ and latest 40+. Always uninstall old driver before installing new ones.
Uninstall card and drivers in windows. When plug and play detects it reinstall.
Power supply ok? What do you have? Check for power drops on the 5V line (Easiest to spot)

Does it lag or do you get lowframerates? If it lags try v-sync on.

Do you have the 60hz refresh rate problem? If so try latest 40+ nvidia driver

What kind of fps are you getting in the game? Type net_graph 3 in console to see your FPS. Also try timerefresh in console and see what fps you get. Also are the 4in1's installed?

Live: I am overclocking. The Ti200's at 200/460 as opposed to 175/400. BTW: What does fast write even do?
AmdEmAll: The 4-in-1's are installed. I get 72 fps (maxes out because of my refresh rate) and it's all happy until some action goes on. The framerate flies around from 72 all the way to 40 and around that area... really annoying.

maybe your card is overheating because your are overclocking it? that would explain when the action turns on your card goes bleh. also half-life engine has alot of probs with new stuff. look for other people with the same problem maybe on a cs site or something. dood.

CS does nor really need an overclocked 3D card so i say set all to normal speed and see if you get rid of the problem and be sure to tell us how it went.
