when i was in grade school and sex ed week came up all the kids brought home permission slips for their parents to sign, the parents that didn't mind the subject signed, the kid brought it back and the school would commense with the class
the kids' parents that didn't like the idea of sex ed in grade school didn't sign, and when the sex ed class was about to begin the kids were sent to the library or some other study hall
what is so wrong with that? who does it hurt?
are the current schools wanting to turn away from something like that?
That's interesting because it was the exact opposite when I was in grade/middle school. If they DID have it signed, they didn't attend; however, if they didn't have it signed, then they DID attend.
