Personally I think all English (UK) accents are a turn-off, but I love Scottish, specially Glaswegian. Lovely sing song style though one needs to get used to it.

Any accent is fine with me. Slight Chinese accents or even *gasp* slight vietnamese accents are always cute. Same goes with all European accents.

As long as the accent is slight, i.e. girls who have lived in America for a couple years usually just have a slight accent, are fine with me.

My wife is from Stockport but her accent is more from Bath where she grew up. I barely hear her accent any more, but its a constant thing for random people to come up and compliment her on it. She does hate being mistaken for an Aussie though, Rossman. Must be some cultural thing

The thing that cracks me up is when some waiter really struggles with her accent and she has to start repeating herself. I end up being a translator and she gets slightly frustrated. My grandfather still doesn't understand most of what she says...

[Edit] Stockport is a suburb of Manchester, my wife thought I should clarify. Then she set off the smoke detector while cooking dinner. The puppy is very upset :Q
