Spanish accent all the way. I don't like ANY accent that's too heavy, but a light Spanish accent is the stuff.

My wife is from Stockport but her accent is more from Bath where she grew up. I barely hear her accent any more, but its a constant thing for random people to come up and compliment her on it. She does hate being mistaken for an Aussie though, Rossman. Must be some cultural thing

The thing that cracks me up is when some waiter really struggles with her accent and she has to start repeating herself. I end up being a translator and she gets slightly frustrated. My grandfather still doesn't understand most of what she says...

I think MrsHoneybee (my wife) knows exactly how she feels. People are confused and dunno if it's British, Aussie, New Zealand, some even think Irish or Scottish, LOL.

I found that the Australian women loved my accent when I lived there. Funny how that works out. Of course, I had forgotten that I was the one with the accent.

I like most accents, but I never found the French accent very appealing. (and that has nothing to do with the current climate, or their armpit hair, etc.)

On another note, I really like the south Asian accent (India, Sri Lanka, etc.) - but then again, I married a Sri Lankan, so I guess I'm biased.

I can't stand English accents. Those people talk like their sh!t don't stink or something.

International: Russian and French (southern) accents are sexy. Northern French accents are damn annoying, those people can't stop saying "err how do you say?, err" or "oui, non?" after every english sentences

Domestic: parts of the southern USA, the educated southern, not your typical white-trashy type

Most annoying accents:

Vietnamese -- doesn't even sound remotely english, they sound like they're still speaking Vietnamese (I speak Vietnamese too but my accent is 100% Californian and I wasn't even born in the states)

Chinese -- what's the deal with leaving out all the articles (e.g. "a", "the", "this") and adding s's to everything to make them plural? Hello, listen to people who speak properly and adapt.

Ghetto black - even the most attract women turn me off as soon as they open their mouths and they sound like this. Are they even aware of how they sound? They really embrace this low-brow unattractive accent. I just don't get it.
