which model? i've checked the latest intel and amd platforms, i know for a fact the amd one doesn't support it, and i'm almost sure the intel doesnt either.
actually the version they use doesn't incorporate SATA II. :/

The Shuttle SN25P now uses the nforce4 ultra chipset. The earlier
models used the vanilla version then for some reason Shuttle
just shifted to the ultra. The Shuttle website has also updated the
product description to mention the ultra chipse.t
hmmm... interesting. i wonder if they've upped the price as well. as for why it makes a difference. i upgrade every 3-4 years. i figure i might as well get the latest while i'm at it.
i just looked at the specs. i guess i'm certain on a purchase of the SN25P.
