Cool, I needed a SFF case for my living room entertainment PC, this works perfect! Pretty good price.

I bought this model from newegg about a two months ago. Just make sure you are getting quality ram if you are going to use the IGP. Also beware about the rebate. I just got a letter from shuttle saying that my rebate isn't valid because I didn't send my sales receipt....but newegg didn't send a sales receipt, just a sticker on the side of the box. Now I've got to call them and get it figured out.

There is a good forum for the shuttle SFF at sfftech.com. Also don't get this computer if you are looking for something quiet....mine is LOUD!!!

Actually, the rebate form says to send "The original dated INVOICE that comes with the package."

Newegg includes a copy of the shipping papers with the package, but should have e-mailed you an invoice shortly after you ordered the barebones unit. If they didn't, or you deleted it, you can always log into your account on Newegg, and print a copy of the invoice from there.

marvdmartian, thanks for the advice....Newegg didn't ship any papers with the unit, just the sticker on the side. It's not like they forgot, it's that they shipped the unit out in the original box...

I was kinda troubled by that "invoice" thing mentioned on the rebate too. got mine at newegg too and of course got only the packing slip in the box. I made copies of the slip for my records and sent the original along with the rebate *plus* printouts of the newegg invoices I got in the email and from their website, just to cover my bases. hopefully they won't make up some other excuse and reject my rebate.

unfortunately, I got this box back when there was the $30 rebate, not the newer $60. oh well. it's much quieter than my big chieftec 1040 tower case. not quiet like a dell, but pretty close, even with the radeon 9800 pro hsf going. I might buy another one of these sn41g2's to move all the cheiftec components over (first shuttle was for completely new system).

Just bought one myself and I find it nice and quiet as long as the fan is in low RPM mode, which mine always is (except right at POST). Other folks have replaced the stock fan to quiet it down.

Good price, but not super-hot. I got my refurb SN45G for $208 @ Newegg. Speaking of the SN45G: when it comes to overclocking, the SN41G2 pails in comparison to the SN45G. Sure you can pin-mod, but you're basically stuck at what your proc. will do @ default voltage. This deal is great, however, for a high-end HTPC setup because of it's high-quality integrated audio. Just slap a DVD-burner and an AIW card in that baby and you'll be ready to go!
