The thing with these multi-millionaire athletes that I don't understand is that I hope they realize they can't make 20 million a year forever. When you spend the way they're spending, damn . . .

You probably have a sub 1,00sq ft apt. He has multiple 6,000+sqft homes with heated pools and giant open rooms and crazy lighting outside.

This is what I don't understand about people who don't understand what money is.

It's paper. It's used to get things with. An exchange note.

What's money worth sitting in a bank for a life time for one person? ABSOLUTELY F"ING NOTHING.

Thats really the only thing that keeps me from getting angry when reading about how rich people spend their money.

Unfortunately a lot of it only goes from wealthy people to wealthy people. I bet that every person involved in making a Ferrari lives comfortably.

He should save his money in a mattress, that money isn't going to last forever. Personally, I would buy a pool and fill it up with money. That way I can save money, and also when I feel like it, I can swim in it like "scourge mcduck"

I know what you're saying but $10,000 worth of electricity? I still find that hard to believe. My place is 3,700 sq ft with a sub zero fridge and a mini bar fridge.

I dont get why people get mad when others use welfare and government money, then in turn get mad when others use their own money that they earned...

You guys are goofs. These aren't his real expenses. These have been intentionally exaggerated to make it look like he has less disposable income for his divorce trial. That's why the numbers are so fucked, because they are completely 'massaged'.

Assuming this numbers are true, I fail to see how making a net of ~$450,000 a month after the living expenses of, literally speaking, a superstar is "wasteful."

That doesn't even measure up to some 'cottages' on these kinds of properties.

I think the letter is BS, but $10k of electricity isn't hard to grasp esp when one of his places in in Miami. Have all your doors open and the a/c blasting, probably a/c outside too...a cooled pool, lighting everywhere, electronics everywhere, etc in three homes then it's easy.

I can hit 300-400 per month in electric cooling 1800sq ft. I hit $175 in a 600sq ft apt.

not only is his square footage larger, the volume is greatly increased in many of these places with 18-20' ceilings all with walls of heat beckoning glass.

Try air conditioning a 30,000 square foot house in Miami. I don't know how big his current house is but I remember from MTV cribs that his LA house was like 30-50,000 square feet. The guy is worth 250-300 million, he can afford to spend a lot more money.
