Share some Stand-Up Comedy that doesn't suck

Someone recommended in one of Zeze's numerous splooge of threads some Doug Stanhope stand-up so I got to thinking that would make for a decent thread... Though that instance of Stanhope wasn't very funny to be honest

So give me some suggestions of stand-up to watch. Aside from political shows, it's pretty much one of the only things I'll watch on TV since it's one of the few things that is politically incorrect... No need to mention obvious ones such as George Carlin... I think we all know he is a god amongst stand-up. The less mainstream the more likely we have yet to see them.

Christina Pazsitzky - Mother Inferior (Netflix Special) ... Not half bad for a newbie
Ali Wong - Cobra (Netflix Special) .... Pregnant Asian lady.... and pretty damn funny.

Anything by Fluffy is great (Gabriel Iglesias).

Netflix has a surprising amount of original standup. Some of the foreign stuff is pretty funny (Singapore vs. Malaysia).

He is excellent at prepared delivery. While I haven't been a super huge fan of his recent stuff (like cars/coffee with Seinfeld), I did see him live a few years ago, back during his rise to fame on Youtube. Absolutely the hardest I've ever laughed in my life...I had to plug my ears for a few minutes because my jaw was hurting from laughing lol. IRL, he has that knack to make you laugh the same way you do when you have a funny friend who can push it until you're crying from laughing so hard.

I saw Seinfeld's new one. It was okay, more of a very light documentary. I always appreciated him more under the guidance of his TV show directors, though. But it was fun to see how he developed his material & how he took notes (literally thousands) and was able to rattle off jokes about any topic the audience could throw at him.

On a tangent, it apparently costs about $100,000 to produce each episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. You know, the one with two guys who randomly talk about stuff (I'm assuming unscripted, because a lot of them are surprisingly not very funny at all) using a GoPro & a rented classic car.

On another tangent, I feel like Carpool Karaoke lost its magic with the Apple acquisition. What made it fun was James Cordon just doing his thing. Feels like too much oversight now...they're trying just a bit too hard & it makes it lose the edge it had for feeling like a fun ride-a-long.

yeah i was never a big fan of comedians in cars getting coffee. just lots of meh, not very funny.

a chatting in cars that made me laugh way more often was "rollin with olan". it's not pro comedians, just a couple guys who made youtube videos. one of them (olan) was from balloonshop though which IMHO is one of the funniest youtube channels of all time.

jake's dating-a-pregnant-girl conundrum still kills me every time i watch it.

Don't listen to much comedy, but I like Carlin and Bill Hicks. Paula Poundstone might be funny. Never heard her act, but I like hearing her on NPR.
