a chatting in cars that made me laugh way more often was "rollin with olan". it's not pro comedians, just a couple guys who made youtube videos. one of them (olan) was from balloonshop though which IMHO is one of the funniest youtube channels of all time.

Oh man, I'd forgotten about this one:

I've been listening to the "Today's Comedy" channel on Pandora lately. Good way to find new stuff you haven't heard before. When I hear someone especially funny I look them up on youtube for more.

Joe Rogan, Pete Holmes, Tom Segura, Bert Kreischer are a few of my favs, but they're def not for everyone...especially Pete Holmes and Bert Kreischer seems people either really like them or can't stand them.

Also found this funny...I think Jim Gaffigan may have posted it somewhere-

These guys aren't as popular over here in the states, but Jimmy Carr & Bill Bailey are both hillarious, though Jimmy Carr's got a VERY annoying laugh.

Jimmy Carr has become one of my favorite comedians. My Youtube suggestions is full of stuff form the British shows "8 Out of 10 Cats" and "8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown" because they're both hosted by him and are both very entertaining.

For another comic, Anthony Jeselnik is fantastic. Here's one of my favorite bits by him.
This bit is fantastic

Edit: Gah! I hate when I miss that a thread is massively necroed

Sort of dated, younger guys aren’t going to get some of the celebrity mentions.
One of my favorite parts is: CBS stands for...

I still say “Pee Wee Herman did WHAT?” as an expression of unexpected surprise.

Glad Robin Williams' Live on Broadway at least got a mention. Its a classic.

Pablo Francisco is solid, also like Dat Phan ( reminds me a little bit of Ken Jeong, who is also alright).

The three specials where Jim Gaffigan really had his fastball are

King Baby
Mr. Universe
Obsessed

He then transitions to being and "older" comic with

Cinco
Noble Ape
Quality time

Then you can go back and sort of catch his origins with

Beyond the pale

For me its the best standup series out there.

Dara O'Briain is very funny, a good guy in person too. This one is about Video Games, yup he's a bit of a geek/nerd.

Ron White.

White is getting a bit too predictable and cliche. He's running out of stories, so you can tell when he makes up new ones that have no basis on an actual event.

Anyway, I watch quite a bit of standup on Netflix. My favorites:

Tom Segura
Patton Oswalt (THE KING)
Jim Jefferies
Donald Glover (weird!)
Wanda Sykes (a bit political but funny as hell)

Popular stand up that gets on my nerves:
John Mulaney (just annoying for some reason)
Mike Birbiglia (pacing bores me)
Aziz Ansari (very enthusiastic about things I have absolutely no experience with)
Jim Gaffigan (HAHA! YOU'RE A FAT AND LAZY DAD! HAHAHA!)

On the fence:
Chris Rock (Funny, but exhausting after a while)
Sarah Silverman (Some things are funny, some are 1st grade humor, some things just don't work but she tries to force it)
Ellen DeGeneres (A few good jokes, but tends to get preachy)

This guy is quite fascinating to watch because he can instantly come up with a rap based on random suggestions from the audience.
