Without a doubt the biggest score of the night:
Zelda 3DS XL $149 (can return my still sealed ones I already bought for $199)
PS3 Games:
Ratchet and Clank HD Collection $10
Beyond Two Souls $25
The Last of Us $25 (a regular copy since my limited edition ones are steelbook)
360 Games:
Grand Theft Auto V $35
Borderlands 2 GOTY $30
Bioshock Infinite $20
Max Payne 3 $10
Far Cry 3 $15
Dead Island Riptide Special Edition $15
Wii U Games:
ZombiU for $9, used deal, can return the one I got at Target a week or so ago for $40 in the B2G1 deal (was the $59.99 free game I selected as there wasn't much else to pick at the time).
And some PSN+ 12 month cards for $30 at Gamestop.
I forgot to check for Halo 4 which was supposed to also only be $25 at Wal-Mart. Oh well.
Made out pretty well, had no problem easily getting everything I set out to get tonight except for forgetting Halo 4. Also wanted that Rocketfish Wii U carry bag Best Buy had for $19 (it's own sale nothing to do with Black Friday) but must have missed it sigh. Always a treat getting brand new popular and recently released games priced less than used prices.
This was the first time I attempted to go out on one of these things, I usually avoid them like the plague. Have to say it was a pleasant experience and things were quite civil with non of the horror stories I heard. Granted I wasn't trying to get a $99 70 inch LCD or anything like that either Though with these cheap no name TVs it's no wonder the same people probably have to buy a new one every Black Friday haha.
The worst part was waiting in line forever at Gamestop because these two women at one of the two registers would NOT SHUT UP AND PAY AND GO AWAY, just kept talking and talking and asking to see different things and comparing, so those waiting in line and know what they wanted slowed to a crawl. Not sure if the women are to blame or more likely that Gamestop should have set them aside and freed up the register when they realized they were going to be needy like that.
Also FWIW I had my 360 first and have some of the original releases of those franchises on the 360 so just sticking to consistency, and I tended to 360 for multi platforms and shooters due to the controller and XBL support. PS3 has been for exclusives, adventure, platformer, RPG, etc and all the cool stuff my Shooterbox 360 leaves me yearning for when I'm done blowing stuff up.
