Were you speaking at your graduation? If you were i think that takes the thread

Yea, that was actually the end of my Validictorian speech. I thought it was the best possible way i could end it.

Ok, I just created a MySpace for my rabbit:

http://www.myspace.com/85502353

Definitely my nerdiest moment ever, though it was a girl that talked me into it so it's not like I came up with it on my own.

I was contemplating creating one for my rubber dinosaur to belittle all the pretentious jackasses on that website, but I'm a lazy bastard.

That sounds fantastic. This was my first time on MySpace...definitely a freak show, but I guess I should be careful in my glass house here.

-passing a note in class to a friend in elementary school about a new star wars collectible card that i had designed, getting caught by the teacher, and having write up the note for everyone in the class to read (30 copies of the note)

-successfully hacking a public library computer so i could use it without policy restrictions.

-taking a school computer apart so I could put my hard drive in there to download files quickly to it through their T1 connection. (did this in the school library, but i was friends with a staff member who gave me permission)

I'm sure there are many more but i cant think of them right now..

lol, i did that and more.

I would take decks that I designed and play them against each other. I think I played way more card games by myself than with people (but i played with people sometimes too). But then the funny thing is if both ur decks suck, then ur not really gettin better

Made perfect sense to me.

I referred to the women i was attracted to using this system. It began with a girl named lydia i liked. then when that fell thru i liked another girl named katie, but i refered to her as lydia 2.0 (not to her face) and used the system a few more times after that.

my friends got a kick out of it.

Second time I'm posting this. Goddamn forum errors are breeding. It's the reincarnation of JRun.

I bypassed my middle school's security system, Fortress, so I could run scandisk and defrag. Scary thing is, my computer science teacher nearly freaked out when she saw the defrag drive map.

Other nerdly thing - recently at work, I was moved to a less sucky job, using a standup forklift instead of a pallet truck. That meant I didn't need to lift any heavy boxes myself, and I now had power steering. But I was called back after only a few minutes, and put back on the pallet truck, because that department was short on people. I immediately just envisioned it as an electron absorbing energy, gaining an energy level, but then losing a photon and going back to its ground state.
It has been mentioned before that I might possibly think too much.

Also at work (in a warehouse, BTW), there was a really dusty box that had "Breathe deep" written on it, in the dust. I wrote "WTFBBQ."

In college, an entry-level engineering class project was a small electronic car with a simple cruise control circuit. I went with one other person in the group to weigh the car - we were going to the weight room. She said it was the nerdiest thing she'd ever done: going to a college weight room to weigh an engineering project.

I can't think of many other things that might qualify here. At least, I can't think of them right now.

My wife said that was really nerdy and to leave the stuff home.

man, i actually thought of doing the same thing. I am not alone.

i am fairly nerdy at times...but my friend has me beat.

recently he has gone looking for the DSL switch and where it is located in the area. From there, he has located the closest available apartment to get the fastest connection...

this is also the same kid that plays a tcp/ip drinking game with other friends. It has a number of difficult questions that even half of the nerdy population wouldn't know. You miss one and you drink. You get one right and you give someone a drink....sad really.
