Sharing a few dash cam videos

A few months back, i was struck by an inattentive driver who ran a red light. I had dash cam video of that which helped prove my case to insurance (the other driver accused me of running the light.) My case is still under legal, so i can't show that particular video.

I've had a dash cam for a few years now, but since the accident you tend to see more of these... let's say, interesting drivers, like this CRV person.

I talked to a few friends about what i see on a daily basis, some thought i was just going crazy , so i decided to post a few of the vids online. Some are close calls, others are a bit interesting, and maybe not too bad on the rest.

My offline vids continue to grow, i may pull up old footage and upload them, along with anything new and interesting that pops up.

I just ordered the 'original Dash Cam 2+' from Costco for $150 on sale. Wish I'd had it for some things in the past, I think.

That guy probably ran the red light because, like me, he's never been in a town that orients them that way. It probably never registered in his brain.

It's actually quite the opposite. Ever since I got a dashcam, I realized that whatever you record appears much tamer in the video.

There was a time when I turned a blind corner quickly and due to the fact that I usually drive during non-peak hours, the traffic surprised me and I had to slam on the brakes. It freaked me out in the car since it chirped the wheels and skid a little.

I checked the video and it looked like I was slowing down for a yield sign. Same thing applies for acceleration.

Yes, there was a car in front of me so that could have warned me to slow down, but I do unfortunately stereotype cars, and assumed that the MB was slowing down just because it was an old driver or something.
