Buy the regular Mach 3. Don't waste your money on the more expensive "Turbo" model. Not worth the money IMHO.

They sent me a free mach 3 on my 18th birthday, I think it was prolly some marketing sceme to get me to buy their expensive blade replacements. It worked.

Panasonic Linear is the best. I'm somewhat sorry I bought a Braun Syncro. The self cleaning is great but the Panasonic gave a much closer shave. Stay away from Norelco. There's just something about them that many don't like...

oh yeah, everyone knows a straight razor looks the most 1337. why don't you start on one of them?

I second The Panasonic Linear. Hands down the BEST electric razor you can buy. and it is a wet/dry razor so you can shave in the shower

I use the regular Mach 3. Works great. I'm thinking of getting a electric. I'll look into the Panasonic. Thanks guys.

Not unless you have a really stiff beard when you start shaving. I tried that and hated it. Of course I still don't like electric razors, only takes a minutes with a safety razor in the shower (mach 3 please)

Blasphemy!

I love my Syncro, and I can get as close as a blade with it.

Soo... Has anyone discovered any differences in the Mach 3 blades and the Mach 3 turbo blades? I bought some for my regular mach 3 stick, and it seems to go over a little smoother. It might just be in my head cuzz i paid another 2 bucks for an 8 pack.

Start with a Mach 3 (maybe a Schicks Diamond), and when your beard becomes strong enough, get an electric one. It's much softer on the skin, but if your beard is more like peach skin, you won't get much work done with an electric
