I just got a Norelco Spectra for my birthday and I love it. My Mach 3 hasn't been used in weeks.

Electric is the best when you first start to shave.

Panasonic Linear is the best. I'm somewhat sorry I bought a Braun Syncro. The self cleaning is great but the Panasonic gave a much closer shave. Stay away from Norelco. There's just something about them that many don't like...

I second The Panasonic Linear. Hands down the BEST electric razor you can buy. and it is a wet/dry razor so you can shave in the shower

Agreed, my dad has one that I use occasionally; it's really nice. I have a cheap-ass Braun myself, but I don't like it too much. I got a free Mach 3 turbo at a promotional thing at school, I mostly use that, but I wish I could use the Panasonic on a daily basis.

As far as electric shavers go, Philishave are excellent. With the flexible rotors, you can get a shave comparable to a razor after about 6 weeks, when your skin adjusts to being shaved.

$15 gets you a really nice fogfree shower mirror, works great.

Camping axe with a Birch handle. Works for me.

I remembered this quote from Stallion:

The thought of using the old Mach 3 on the sack doesn't thrill me one bit.

Bahahahaha. Just you wait. Shaving becomes more complicated and interesting as you go down the line.

I use Mach 3. They sent them to lots of people I know and they all gave them to me. I have a few of them sitting around.

lol, don't forget to use shaving fome too, with no fatherly figure around, i had no idea what i was doing. got some lovely cuts though.
when u first starting, i never really found the need to get a fancy razor, and just used disposibles a few times (when i first started, i only needed to shave like once a week)
i got a mac 3 when, and now i use it about every 2-3 days. Can anyone tell me how i will know when the blade needs changing?

I found the turbo blades to be much better for me than the regular mach 3 ones.

Never tried electric, but I'd love to try a straight razor.

He's probablye talking about Panasonic (Japanese) and Braun (German). Norelco is from the Netherlands I believe (owned by Philips).

Blasphemy!

I love my Syncro, and I can get as close as a blade with it.

Try a Linear, its even closer than the Syncro. I'm only using my Syncro out of laziness. The Self Cleaning is great. If Panasonic would make a cleaning station for a Linear, I'd but it without hesitation...

Mach 3, the blades are expensive but it's worth it.

I started off with one of those Norelcos with the 3 circular blades (Like 5000XL or something) ... once I tried the Mach 3 I never went back.

For an electric, I would also recommend the Panasonic Linear.
As for a razor, I've tried the Gilette Sensor, Sensor Excel, Mach3 and Mach 3 Turbo. My recommendation is the Mach 3 Turbo.

I've been Mach 3 user for awhile, but I want to switch to an electric.. I was thinking about the Syncro but maybe I'll check out that Panasonic.
