Why was Byron (the badass guard) arrested at the end? Did he have a part in the money laundering or was it something else?

Please explain what evidence the police would have that Byron was the person who did that? Wasn't it only Byron and the Warden who were present at the scene?

He was arrested for his general mis-treatment of the prisoners...I'd assume that andy included in his letter a note that hadley (byron hadley) had beaten prisoners and had even killed one, and that hadley was arrested pending an investigation. he 'cried like a little girl' because he knew it was true.
