Looks like a mis-statement by Cindy. She probably didn't intend on including NO in that sentence but had NO on her mind with regards to the poverty stricken. Should we hold GWB to the same standards you prescribe here? There are volumes of books on his misstatements, many of which are significantly worse. Should you need some examples, I would be more than happy to provide GWB statements that qualify.

Now that's a stretch. How can we protect our country if we don't have plans to defend ourselves from different attacks? Obviously GWB was speaking about methods of defense against new ways to harm our country. It really doesn't take a genius to figure that out.

Sheehan's message is fine, so she is anti-war. a lot of people are going to buy into that.
it's the way she goes about it. she has called for the President to be impeached and for U.S. troops to immediately evacuate Iraq. has she put any thought into why these aren't solutions but make her sound like an irrational mother that is lashing out because she has lost a son?
(who, btw, signed up freely to be in the military.)
