Corruption is not known to one political party in NYS. Another recent one is former majority leader Dean Skelos...Here's a link. I find it curious that there is no mention at all in the article that this guy was a Democrat. Go figure.

Don't feel bad Doc. I'm sure Fox will make up the difference by mislabeling R's as D's the next time one of them gets into trouble during their broadcasts.
I love the mentality on display here.Don't feel bad Doc. I'm sure Fox will make up the difference by mislabeling R's as D's the next time one of them gets into trouble during their broadcasts.
Criminals are criminals, no matter their political affiliation and need to be punished accordingly.
Reminds me of when I found myself living in Chicago in the late 70's. Mayor Daily died in office, and within about 2 weeks the milk stopped being delivered to the schools. Apparently, whatever under the table deal Daily had fell apart after he was dead and the school board owed hundreds of millions dollars to the milk suppliers.
I was going to purge the City of Chicago of that horrible Democratic machine. So I voted for Republicans to get rid of them. Turns out they were just as corrupt. Jim Thompson, the governor I voted for ended up in the slammer.
Some localities have corruption so ingrained in them that party has no meaning anymore.
pssst, it's Daley
I linked the first article I found for the OP. When I read the article, I got to the end and wondered if the guy was a D or R and, after double-checking, was surprised there was no mention of any party affiliation. I thought it was odd and mentioned my observation...and you say it's a waste of time for doing so? Interesting.I googled his name and the first link was to the New York Times, which gives his party affiliation in the third paragraph. I haven't listened to Limbaugh in over 10 years so I don't remember if the NYT is part of the "liberal media." Why do you even waste time thinking about this nonsense?
Jim Thompson ended up in the slammer? Please provide a link as I did a quick search and found nothing that suggests this.Reminds me of when I found myself living in Chicago in the late 70's. You're going with the "liberal media" narrative, and yes I think that's a waste of time.I linked the first article I found for the OP. We need a federal law that says any government employee found guilty of fraud, bribery, misconduct etc is no longer eligible for any pensions. Why should the taxpayers continue to pay the crooks that rip us off?
Here's a link. I find it curious that there is no mention at all in the article that this guy was a Democrat. Go figure.
The article was updated around 5, they probably added that line. When I initially searched I saw some tweets that mirrored DSFs post. But I'm sure he just randomly picked the 4th Google result and made a "casual observation."The crooked Lower East Side Democrat slouched in his chair as the judge spoke.
Didn't take the time to read, did you? Of course not. Didn't stop a bunch of you jumping the gun, yet again, and looking like a bunch of stupid assholes.
As for Sheldon Silver, good riddance to bad rubbish.
