The article was updated around 5, they probably added that line. When I initially searched I saw some tweets that mirrored DSFs post. But I'm sure he just randomly picked the 4th Google result and made a "casual observation."
The article I'm reading has the following lines:

Manhattan Federal Court Judge Valerie Caproni slammed the adulterous Lower East Side Democrat as one of the most crooked elected officials the state has ever seen.

The disgraced pol slouched in his chair as the judge spoke, occasionally squinting his eyes.

News at the speed of the internet, I guess.

Didn't take the time to read, did you? Of course not. Didn't stop a bunch of you jumping the gun, yet again, and looking like a bunch of stupid assholes.

As for Sheldon Silver, good riddance to bad rubbish.
I read the article twice and conducted a word search. I also see that the article has since been revised. And if anybody is looking like a "stupid asshole"...it's you.

That was the first link I clicked even though it was the 4th result. I didn't go searching through various versions as you imply. It actually was a casual observation. And I have another casual observation for you...assholes seem to be crawling out of the woodwork today.

I'll have to say you're right. They changed it again from the last time I read it.

So what you're saying is, "who me?"

We need a federal law that says any government employee found guilty of fraud, bribery, misconduct etc is no longer eligible for any pensions. Why should the taxpayers continue to pay the crooks that rip us off?

Seriously. How is that not 100% bipartisan support?

(OK, well for the voters...because we know the people that actually write this legislation and vote for it are all equally corrupt shitbags)

It wasn't in the headline, therefore it is biased!

Republicans need the "important" stuff in big bold letters up top. None of them can be challenged to read further. I mean...what the fuck is a paragraph? that shit looks scary and even dangerous!

No. I'm telling you what happened since you're being a complete asshole about it. Are you really as fucking stupid as you appear to be?

You were trying to push the "liberal media" nonsense with your original post, I pointed out that the very first result from a google search gives you an article from a "liberal" newspaper that specifically says that Silver is a Democrat. You respond with "it was just an observation from the first link I found..." which is your typical "who me?" back peddle.

Edit - I really don't care about it that much, but for some reason you keep trying to dance around your original statement.

I'll take that as a 'yes'.

You're still refusing to address your original post, I guess now your excuse is that you think I was mean to you.
No...I don't think you're being mean to me....I just think you're stupid. How many times do I have to say it before it sinks in?

You're really sensitive when you get called out. Your original article added his party affiliation and the "liberal" New York times had it the entire time. So much for that.

It's NY, it goes without saying that he's a D. Of course if it was an R anywhere else that would be part of the headline, the media being what it is.

No it doesn't. Republicans control the state senate currently.

Clearly the stupid person isn't the guy who failed at a basic Google search and then drew a dumb conclusion based on it, it's the person who informed him that he failed.

This 'who, me?' business is so tiresome. Why do you keep doing it?

I thought it was odd that they left out his party affiliation in the article and said so. The author apparently figured out their oversight later and revised the story accordingly. There is nothing to see hear except your hypersensitivity, childish animus, and abject stupidity.

And, for the record, I think that your constant state of butthurt is tiresome as well.

You thought it was odd because you have made up your mind that the media is biased for liberals. You immediately see examples that support your viewpoint and never bother to expend any effort whatsoever to find counter examples. When people present you with counter examples you get defensive and try to pretend you were not implying that media is biased and the people attacking you are stupid.

I don't know what the hell it is you're thinking...but one thing is painfully clear. Care to take a wild guess?

Yes, clearly I'm the hypersensitive one here. Hahaha.

I made zero effort to find counter examples as I wasn't trying to make sweeping accusations as is being assumed by you and your ilk, just stating an observation related to the first and only article I read and linked. Nothing more, nothing less. I thought it was odd, because it was odd. Imagine that!

Also, I didn't go looking through articles and then pick one with the intent to upset those with incredibly fragile sensitivities like yourself. You have read much meaning into so very little. Perhaps you should save some of that outrage for all those Christians...bigot.

I see, so your "go figure" comment didn't happen.

You put your finger on the crux of why conservatives believe in this myth of a liberal media. It's called selective attention, where one sees only what one expects to see and once the expectation is confirmed, there is simply no reason to continue the inquiry.

What boggles my mind is that they actually think a liberal bias for mainstream news makes sense as a business model for shareholder owned media corporations. Not the Fox News conservative biased model which works because Fox has no competition for conservative biased media among large mainstream outlets, but rather, the notion that all the others compete against each other for a liberal audience, instead of biasing their news in favor of whatever attracts the most attention from the widest array of viewers and readers. The very notion of a liberal biased news media makes no sense, but everywhere they look, they see nothing but confirmation of this absurd model. Amazing.
