People need to expand their game library or simply go outside more. Maybe play with the dog, or go play with the wife or kids. It's pretty sad to see so many people angry they can't get their fix. Hell, go do lines of coke instead or shoot some heroin. They both are less addicting.

Blizzard is probably the one company with the money to make downtime go away.

1. Replicate all servers.
2. Patch offline servers.
3. Switch which servers are live.

But they'd rather built orc statues in their parking lot.

You should be in charge of blizzards servers team, you seem to have all the hard answers!

I'm so glad I never got into this game. I'd be a lost puppy like the rest of you I'm sure. For now, I'll just stick to my FPS and Starcrack when I need a fix.

A lot of WoW haters in here. It's just a game people choose to play, albeit a very time consuming game. That doesn't mean everyone who plays is depressed or any worse off than people that don't play are. It's no different than any other hobby/activity that is time consuming (like sitting in front of the TV for hours watching sports or movies).

The comments from players stating "I used to play, but then I got a life", that is just sad. You are basically saying you suck at balancing your priorities. If you are that upset with how much you play the game, just do something else and come back later, the game isn't going anywhere. If you can't, then you probably have an addictive personality, and in that case be thankful that wow is your only vice, there are much worse things to be addicted to.

I'll have to agree with the "I QUIT N GOT A LIFE" remarks being pretty stupid. It just shows a lack of balance and discipline in your life. I'm glad you able to quit something due to your addicting personality. Good for you. But it makes you sound like a Nazi thinking you are better than those who play. But it's you who are the loser who failed to have any control in your life.

I play a few hours a day with my brother and some former college buddies. I have a full-time job and have a few more activities I do besides WoW. It's not like I carry an organizer with me or plan ahead. Maybe I should quit WoW and go get a life? I don't know but it feels I already have one?

I liked WoW when I had enough free time to play it constantly and be elite, but I can't stand playing it as just a casual. It's a conundrum - I sometimes want to start playing it again because I want to see all the new features and such, but I know that if I do I'll just be bored and wonder why I wasted $15 to reactivate my account.
