Finding a job sucks
It was for a job at my university's printer shop (take mass orders, go out and service the schools printers, crap like that)
I felt like the interview was going well right up until the very end. We were wrapping everything up then he said "one more question, if you are hired what will you bring that will benefit this company" refferring to something personality wise what would I bring.
I know job interviewers love to ask crap questions like that, but it kinda took me off gaurd and I went into this schpeal about how "I have a love for technology and for this line of work, and with that... a strong desire to learn all that I can. That desire will keep me motivated to work my hardest and to continue learning about my job so I can do it the best that I can."
and his reaction was kinda like "ooooookay, suuuuure... whatever" type of a thing... On my way out to the car I was running through the interview in my head and now I think I didn't even answer his question at all the way he was looking for! I feel like an idiot
But what the crap are you supposed to say when they ask that?
:Q I didn't expect to see this thread again
but here's an update.
I didn't get the job, but I dont really care, because me and my buddy started our own business setting up peoples Christmas lights where I make (read, I take to my bank account) anywhere from $125-350 a job.
I'm also working as a pizza delivery guy for Pizza hut, and I average about $8.50/hr with tips.
