i'm liking the post solely because you used champing at the bit rather than chomping.
Ha, thanks. It's surprising how many people don't realize that's the actual expression.

Anyone care to take a crack at understanding this logic (see bolded)?
"U.S. President Donald Trump called Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday, pledging to support Canadian police “in any way necessary” in the aftermath of the Quebec mosque attack.
During the call, Trump reportedly passed along his condolences for all Canadians after the attack on Sunday night, which killed at least six at the Centre culturel islamique de Quebec. After the call, White House press secretary Sean Spicer pointed to the attack as justification for Trump’s focus on national security.
“This is another senseless act of violence that cannot be tolerated,” White House spokesman Sean Spicer said Monday. “It’s a terrible reminder of why we must remain vigilant and why the president is taking steps to be proactive rather than reactive when it comes to our nation’s safety and security.”

How would anything that the Trump regime is saying/doing have had any effect as regards preventing this attack?
The only thing that I can come up with is, if Muslims weren't allowed in the country the gunman wouldn't have had anyone to attack so there would have been no attack so don't let Muslims in your country?
He might be under the impression that a Muslim did it. Reality doesn't matter much to Spicer.

This is only possible after you have dehumanized those with different beliefs than yourself.
That and mental illness..... bet we find out later that this nutter has psychological issues...
I think Glenn Greenwald said it best on Twitter: reckless and grotesque.
Well, one thing we know: the shooter was a big Trump fan... and like many of Trump's bigger fans, also rabidly misogynist on top of the racism and Islamophobia.
It really is as if Trump's win was interpreted by bigots around the world as permission to let their hate flow, whether it's on internet forums or through a gun in a mosque.
Reading Glenn Greenwald will give you brain cancer.
you'd think people in the US would do so given that it's in the US that they can now feel mainstream. Instead, it happened in Canada, which is currently swinging left. This doesn't make me believe much in that theory. It really is as if Trump's win was interpreted by bigots around the world as permission to let their hate flow, whether it's on internet forums or through a gun in a mosque.
Where is BlueMax?

Police now saying that one of the two detained is a witness, not a suspect. Bissonnette was the one who called police and was detained after threatening to kill himself for what he had done.
This is P&N. You won't have to wait for facts to find out who inspired it...Down to a single shooter, who is clearly mentally ill, and definitely not foreign nor Muslim.
Seems more like insanity or individual hate crime than terrorist group. Terrorist inspired? Eh... if he has known contacts and logistical / finical support... otherwise I'd have to go with inspired at best. By who would be an interesting question to have answered.
Well. That's disgusting. I believe the sentiment that's appropriate here is fuck him.Anyone care to take a crack at understanding this logic (see bolded)?

There's the Tolerant Right again, spreading love and cheer throughout the world.
Example of carcinogenic articles from Greenwald? I find him to be pretty good.
You want to see real tolerance check out the right wing sites on this. It's all lies. False flag. Pinning it on the poor white guy. I swear they will blame Muslims for everything. Especially disturbing when they are clearly the targeted victim here. There's the Tolerant Right again, spreading love and cheer throughout the world.
lol Right. It's important to remember that the intolerant people are those celebrating the election of Trump, not those people vandalizing buildings, burning cars, and throwing rocks at cops to protest the election of Trump. It'd be very easy to confuse that simple truth if one only concentrates on the total intolerance of the tolerant people.
