There have not been any updates on the Purdue site itself since they announced the arrest, so I guess that's a good sign.

I always find it interesting so that few people march into gun stores and start shooting. Or police stations. Or NRA meetings.

Schools should be sacred. They are supposed to be a place of safety.

I'd be in favor of it being a federal, capital crime to do this kind of thing.

I never had anyone threaten me with a weapon, but I had a guy get in my face when he was upset. A small part of me was amused by the idea that he would likely be expelled if he hit me. Didn't happen, though.

Was a couple buildings away, pretty sketchy. We were not really that well informed. They continued with classes as it happened but then cancelled class for the rest of the day and all of tomorrow.

I took EE201 & 207 in that building in the mid nineties.

Aren't a lot of school shootings about retribution and murder of an individual (often teacher) or group (bullies)? Columbine seemed premeditated.
