And to answer a few from above, my problem was not with the text (Swim) but rather the placement...and for those who are arguing that T shirts have writing on the chest area, well yes it is a valid comparison however it is the same for men and women, wheras only women's shorts are sold with writing on the ass...where are my guy shorts with ass writing.

yes. I love it when girls wear that kind of stuff, but only when they're my age (18). It's not the word that's the issue here, the little girl has writing on her butt, and it's anyone's natural instinct to read the words, and thus look at her behind.

It's hardly this kind of shorts causing the problems may as well say "SWIM /" and "\ HERE" on each thigh.

Today's parents are trying to be buddy buddy with their kids, making them think they are all that matters ("do you know you I am?"), and in general living vicariously through them. You hear of double dates where 'mom' farms out her pre-adult daughter since it needs to be a double date and crap like that.

In general lately all people care about is themselves and how to stretch their advantage further.

Daily I would say just out and about here I could see most of a pre-18 year olds breasts, as$, and even occasionally their lower parts flashing under a 4" mini while walking with their parents. My wife is the quickest to point these things out and she gets really upset about it.

I have lived a mostly night life lifestyle until recently that I got married. What you see in clubs and later find out are totally jailbait chicks is shocking.

However that said, I will say age doesn't necessarily make a woman vs girl anymore. I have seen 27 year old children as well as 17 year old business pros. As long as the chick knows the cause/effects and consequences of her actions (as well as a guy doing/knowing the same) it's a fair situation, a lot more than how pre-teen women were farmed out world wide as a commodity until very recently on this planet. At least now they have a say in the matter.

Our whole legal system needs serious revamping as far as age of majority and penalties goes.

I have no problem with good morals, nor with good parenting. Just with people who feel that their morals must be imposed on others.

I don't think it's the word as much as it's the locatoin IMO. I think it draws people's eyes to the ass end of a girl whose ass you shouldn't be looking at. WHose place is it then? or should people just do whatever the heck they feel like even if it objectifies their young children....honestly the one thing that I notice more and more is that kids are no longer kids today....

I have a pair of swim trunks with the Colorado Rockies theme on them. they have "Rockies" written across the butt.
