hThere is a way of stopping the impeachment inquiry -- resign stupid!! Muahahahhaaaaaa

ttps://www.yahoo.com/news/way-stopping-impeachment-inquiry-trump-174633629.html

Trump made the comments on Thursday after the acting U.S. director of national intelligence testified at the U.S. House Intelligence Committee on the whistleblower complaint.

"What ... Democrats are doing to this country is a disgrace and it shouldn't be allowed. There should be a way of stopping it, maybe legally through the courts," Trump said upon returning from a trip to New York where he attended the U.N General Assembly.

U.S. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff said the whistleblower complaint released on Thursday reveals a series of "damning allegations" concerning President Donald Trump's conduct, including a telephone call in which he sought dirt on a political opponent from Ukraine's president.

The complaint "sets out a series of the most damning allegations concerning the conduct of the president and others potentially within the administration," Schiff told reporters after a hearing in which the acting U.S. director of national intelligence testified that the complaint was credible.

resigning is the last thing he wants, it would leave him vulnerable, not necessarily a bad thing for us but bad for him.

he knows he's in a jam with with no way to alleviate it.

His nasty habit of doing and saying whatever his knee jerked emotions and nonexistent moral and ethical capacity tells him to do can't be handled the way he did in the private sector via throwing his bevy of lawyers in front of him to "take care of those idiots of whom he just had to get even with".

Too bad he just can't help himself to be the guy who used to get away with anything he likes simply by throwing money at whatever troubles he causes himself that needs to disappear.

I guess he actually thought he could run the nation the same way he ran his Russian financed business empire.

Trump is right here, impeachment shouldn't be used as a political tool for the party that didn't get their way last election and can't come to grips with it.

Whaaa
Any thoughts on White Water?

I sort of remember you looking at it in a positive light in a post from years ago (I think)

Back on topic this is just the President floating an idea and running his lips because the President likes to hear himself talk. Like the old guy who babbles to you at a baseball game.
The President would love to be King and have none of his orders questioned by anyone.

Change the Consitution. That's the only way to prevent it, but you are going to have to hurry. Trump being ignorant of how the legal system works somehow thinks the courts have a say which of course they don't. Of course your premise is BS as the impeachment at this stage is all about what Trump himself did. If the same was done by Hillary if she had won or Abe Friggin Lincoln if he were alive and held office today? Same thing.

So it's stupid for Trump to look for an out with courts or anything else. This is the USA and the Constitution, not Trump, has the last say in such matters.

Are you saying that there is no cause to investigate the potential of criminal actions by Trump at this time?

I think you guys are blinded by your hatred. You think Trump being unlikable by you is reason to oust him. Luckily there isn't anything of substance, but I am amazed at how hateful the left has become today. Trump didn't create that hate, he simply revealed it.

Our dislike at least for my part is for his actions, his lack of trustworthiness and his troubling lack of the grasp of the most basic realities. Let's stick to this specific statement on the part of Trump to illustrate the last when he talks of getting the courts involved in an impeachment inquiry. There is no rational basis to even consider that as an option and would not be if one of average ability and intelligence read the part in the Constitution about impeachment. A low level civics class dealing with the subject would explain beyond plain English comprehension how things are in detail but Trump apparently never had or paid attention to such things.

As far as the rest there are things of substance, which have been covered to death and Trump put himself into this mess with his actions and it isn't for him or you or anyone else but the House to do its Constitutional duty and investigate.

We don't have an Imperial Presidency although many want such a thing it seems.

Buy a ticket to any despotic nation and a Representative Democracy isn't a problem anymore.

And thank fucking jeebus for that! It's about time he's unable to sidestep the law.

Are you saying that there is no cause to investigate the potential of criminal actions by Trump at this time?
He thinks if he believes it hard enough, it'll become reality. It's called TDS.

I'm saying the transcript of the Ukraine call doesn't show anything worth investigating, yes.

Should the Obama admin have been investigated here?

As the Obama administration did not attempt to use its power for the purpose of improperly and probably illegal self benefit in an election, then no. But the Reps knew that then and do now.

Lawyer. Every single not-shot-in-the-head-partisan-hack lawyer comes out on the side that that transcript is incredible damaging. And thats just the transcript. I know you suck a lot of alt-right * but that doesnt make you a lawyer. Your only choice of recourse here is to throw the rule of law over your shoulder.. HEY JUST LIKE YOUR IDOL DOES... You two have so much in common man.. maybe you should write him a letter and ask him if he wants to marry you? Go for it man. Chase those dreams.
Ok serious question : How many letters have you written Trump?

One of the few times I agree with you. However know when you should use it?

A President extorts another countries leader to dig up dirt on a political opponent using funds appropriated by Congress. Then tries to hide the evidence he did it (secret server).
