They would buy them from another company when a price point requires it. The Hi-Vi drivers appear to be of excellent quality and I think the tweeter is the Hi-Vi TN25. But after researching the Hi-Vi series of drivers at Madisound nothing really matched up to the picture presented by the Swan's marketing dept.
The frame in the Swan's picture looks like the Vifa P13 series. Most of the Hi-Vi drivers use very exotic cone and magnet materials and very large voice coils. These attributes, while highly desired, would add significant cost to the finished product. I think
this matches the picture better than anything that I've seen in the Hi-Vi line.
