Should I buy a Raptor?

He already bought the NF7-S, plus he wants bang for the buck, not insanely expensive (relative to comparably performing NF2 boards).

I took that as he already bought those parts. I thought that you meant that ~$150 DFI I've seen, but I assumed incorrectly.

I would definately buy the Raptor Drive. Yes it is much louder because it spins at 10,000 RPM. But if your willing to buy it the Raptor series are with out question the fastest consumer level drives on the market. It also comes in a ~70GB or so size.
To hook up both just hook SATA up to SATA and IDE to IDE. Then go into Bios and set which boots first IDE or SATA.
