Should I Buy the E8400 Today?

There are lots of online retailers that have been selling E8400s all week. I've already bought the rest of my system from Newegg. Should I just go ahead and buy the E8400 today for ~$210, or hope that tomorrow sites like Newegg will offer them for cheaper prices? Also, any links to good E8400 deals from reputable retailers that ship fast would be appreciated!

I've already checked the "Hot Deals" forum, but I thought I might get more responses here.

you know, i generally love ncix and buy most of my stuff there, but what a rip that they still have prices 35-40 bucks higher for canadians on it and not in stock in canada...good thing i don't want one of them

lol you're right about the shipping. i'm canadian, so there aren't a ton of stores to choose from online in canada.. newegg won't ship here, monarch won't ship here..and ncix owns 2 or 3 other canadian computer etailers..the shipping prices are pretty stock for these guys..the cheapest they get is about 10 bucks (in canada anyway) to ship stuff so i tend to wait until i want 2 or 3 items anyway to make it cost effective. ocassionally they do a free shipping or 1 cent shipping offer, but those situations happen few and far between..but as far as online canadian computer shopping, they have a pretty good monopoly on a lot of items at their prices...and in my experience many times over, their service is great.

yeah, you have to add to cart and you might see an express shipping option or have to add it and go through part of the information adding process to see it..i'm so used to it that i don't think about how they don't have it until that point i tried to add it to my cart from the u.s. site to see what shipping is, but it won't let me given it sees my canadian address and they won't ship from that site to canada, only from the canadian ncix site..sorry

Sorry if I sounded rude. You can't really communicate tone through text easily. I go to church later, so I suppose I forgot that many attend it early in the morning. Anyways, thanks for the NCIX link!

But it takes them at least 3 days to ship it. It took them 6 to get my graphics card into Fedex's hands. I'm not buying from again. Ever. Had to wait a whole week because my gfx card was slow; had all the other parts sitting right there in front of me. Can't tell you how frustrating that was.

Price match another retailer.

It still sucks and all but still. And btw, I think the USD is more than ours at the moment.
