Should I get Norton Gost ?

Hey Guys I want to get a utility to backup my pc because i find myself in the habit of reinstalling XP everytime something goes wrong. I Thought That this utility must be great but at the same time i don't need all these bells n whistle and i don't want it to take up alot of resources. What do you think, reinstall windows or get Norton Gost ? Resources is the issue. Thanks

P4 2.4@500 FSB
1 GHZ DDR SDRAM @ 333 MHZ
1 60 GB HD Maxtor
1 30 GB HD Quantum

15 minutes to restore a full image or 2 hours and some to install os and it's apps.. that's up to you

Ghost or drive image will work fine.

I like drive image better myself....but in the corporate setting, I'd use Ghost over any other product out there.

Make sure you have a spare partition to use for your image......and you'll be good to go.

well, hmm, if it's not obvious to you... I recommend backup only necessary things (progs, usually).. don't make the backup too big.. and don't backup any of these little programs (winamp, winzip, etc.) that gets new versions every time..that way if (or WHEN -) you uses the backup you don't have to uninstall these little programs.. only keep the big important ones..

Ghost doesn't really use any resources in day to day use of your computer. It (AFAIK) runs from a boot floppy when you want to create or restore an image. That's it.
