Should I get this monitor?

I need a 27" and since I'm on headphones 99% of the time and my desk space is limited, I would rather grab one with speakers built-in for the rare occasion that I do need to hear something out loud.

I love the look and the specs seem right but the odd thing is there's very little information online about it. I did a youtube search and I got Chinese and German reviews, like it was released more in Europe and Asia than in US. Was it discontinued, maybe? Or recalled?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated -- thanks in advance!

As you can see, you can get away with $100 less. I've heard Asus VE278Q is decent. While I'm not a fan of Acers in general, this one is worth considering since it's one of the few height adjustable 27 inchers: http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=ACE-B273H&c=CJ. It's not LED though... hard to find one that's got it all, at least in the US. In Europe you can get Iiyama 27 inchers that are both LED and height adjustable but not more expensive.

Thanks for the info, I'll definitely look into the Asus (not a fan of Acers myself as well, I'm afraid).
I just wish I could find something that looks as cool as the Samsung. Shallow, I know...

Also worth mentioning is that Microcenter has 27" 2560x1440 LED IPS panels with otherwise basic features for $400. Definitely worth considering. To me it's either this or a $300 Asus

theres no point in getting 27" when it has the same resolution as most 25" monitors (and that resolution is plenty large on 25"). either save your money and get 25" or get a higher resolution. $399 for 1900x1080 is a total waste. if you wait a few months i have a feeling there will be 27" in stores with higher resolutions

I just picked up one of those Shimian Achieva 27" (2560x1440) panels on ebay that was "pixel perfect" tested before shipped. Other than a little backlight bleeding at the bottom, this thing rocks. It was like $330 shipped.

if you're happy with 1920x1080, just pick up a 21" monitor for under $100
