Have you considered talking to her about it first? Ya know, handle the problem on the lowest level possible.
I had thought of this, doesn't seem like it'd be productive. Plus if it didn't work, then I told the bosses, and they say something to all of us, she'd know it was me. I was thinking of saying to my boss 'Some consumers seem to be agitated that staff is texting while driving, " without saying who it is.

Ok, so I recently started this new job working with mentally ill people in the community. There's this company vehicle we use to drive groups of clients around to appointments, outings, etc. I noticed that one person in particular CONSTANTLY texts while driving. I'm not talking about at red lights either. She'll be looking down at her phone for 6-9 seconds at a time, even 12 seconds on occasion. Talking to her would be fruitless, she's the "whatever..whatever..I'll do what I want" type. Should I mention something to my superiors about this? Maybe not be specific and just say something like "I've noticed people texting quite a bit when they drive..." or something along those lines?

Tattling on coworker for petty crap like being 5 minutes late = bad
Tattling on coworker for behavior that puts clients and bystanders at risk of fatal injury = good.

Sounds a bit like scorned love, dude....
sucks to be you, but getting her in trouble at work isn't going to help you any.
Correct, but getting her into trouble may just help save her passengers.
I am willing this is a one time deal...
Seriously how does the OP get to witness her, is he following her all day....
think about it people instead of just lashing out at a chick that you feel would probably turn you down for a date.

I'd give the # out to someone here, but there's no mark on the van so no one would know where to call...I'm just going to mention it to the boss without specifics.

What are you going to do when he/she asks who's the driver?

OCGuy, it's his responsibility as a member of the company, not to mention his responsibility as a human being.
When did people start being such lazy pansies about responsibility?

Just wait until there is a claim and this thread shows up in the discovery for your negligence.
