When I installed SI-120 I did not realize how hard I hard to pull the rentenion hooks down into the adatpor. I WAS pushing the heatsink downward while pulling hard on one corner and the opposite corner just lifted up. I didn't try to push TOO hard on the heatsink, I was afraid I could squeeze the poor CPU to death. Oh well, after I finally assembly the heatsink to place, I had lifted it off the cpu at least 4-5 times. ..... =(
But I do get like 31-32C at idle (w/o OC), right now I am OC'ing my 4400 to 2.7 Gig and the temperature is right around 50C (I mounted a panaflo Ultra speed fan on top of it and it's blowing at full speed), oh well....<46C would be very nice.
Do you guys think I should reapply AS5 and push down on the heatsink as hard as I can this time?
