Should I replace my 10+ year old Amana with a new Kenmore Refrigerator?

I hate to replace because it still works. however one of the wheels broke off and I am wondering whether to replace the wheel and hope for the best or just replace it. would the newer model save enough electricity to justify the purchase?

I replaced a 15 year old fridge this past summer and my electric bill dropped by a significant amount.

New refrigerators are improved - some will de-freeze automagically, their power consumption could be reduced (thanks to ? better insulation and better compressors maybe), some will start-stop more often in order to keep the temperature in the fridge from changing too much, some have nice blue lights and so on.
A new fridge uses some 1 kWh a day. Assuming the old one uses twice that, you could stand to make a saving of 350 kWh a year, or some $35 worth. Not good... unless to fix the old one would cost you a big part of the price of the new one.

I can't imagine how a 10 year old refridgerator could benefit from being replaced, sure there are improvements in power saving in fridges but there is a certain point where you can't impove and I'd say that happened 10 years ago...
