Should I start a diary?

I have a lot of really good ideas pretty much all the time so I thought maybe I should start carrying around a diary or journal.

Plus when I die it would be worth millions like Anne Frank's diary.

On the other hand I could start a blog and charge a subscription fee, that would probably be pretty popular like facebook. What do you guys think?

I was thinking of writing a journal/diary myself. I'd do it on my laptop since it's encrypted. Backups would be made with an encrypted 7Z SFX archive and sent to my cloud providers. Yes, I use more than one.

So? Write a book under a pseudonym. It's not like anyone is going to read it or believe a word of it is real when they do. Just change all the names. The Sopranos was a fictional show based partially on the DeCavalcante Family. They knew it was written about them but they didn't care. Heck some of them probably liked the notoriety as long as their real names weren't mentioned.
