Should I upgrade to 8RDA+ ?

I have an Epox 8KHA+ running a XP1800+ with 512mb of PC2100 ram. I was thinking about upgrading to the nforce2 with 512mb of PC2700. Is this worht the upgrade? Would an upgrade to 1gb of ram do any better. Not having any system problems, just wondering. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Yes its worth the upgrade if you crave even more power, but if your rig is quick enough, then leave it alone and wait until prices get into the 80's

Chill its fine, I agree with JPbushido. Wuts ur vid card? That would be a better upgrade. Also you could probably upgrade to a higher axp, which would also have much more benifits.

I have a epox-8k7a and a 1800+, i was thinking about getting the 8rda, but decided not to. i think my setup with last me for a while. i dont think you would notice much, if any of a performance increase if you upgraded your mobo or cpu. besides higher benches and more 3dmarks whats the point?

I have a Geforce4 Ti4400 overclocked to 4600. Still not worth it to upgrade?

I just upgraded my 8KHA+ to the new 8RDA+ and it is much faster well worth it, It is running at 206 FSB 2060 Mhz from a tbred 1800. my mem benchmarks beat Intel fastest. XMS 3200 C2

I`ve same board with XP1700+,I`m holding out until the Clawhammer gets here for my next major upgrade ,with your setup and video card it wouldn`t be worth the upgrade unless you get a faster video card and cpu to go with the nForce 2(remember the Epox 8KHA+ can have a XP 2600+ cpu 266fsb with the latest BIOS).The cheapest way would be just to get a faster card like ATi 9700 Pro or 9700 non-Pro for your Epox board,sure your cpu won`t be giving the 9700 cards the best performance but it`s fast enough to go with the 9700 cards.

And if you don`t game a lot then don`t bother .
