Should I wait to the new boards come out that support the new amd athlon64 (clawhammer) ?? Or should I get abit NF7-s now ? But then again nf7 v1.2 is also coming out soon ..

right now the epox arda+ and a 2100xp Tbred Rev B oced is the best thing going

WalMart makes a very good point as do somewhat the same. Let others test and try the new while I review and wait and for new Revs , drivers ,and most importantly price. If got the New Abit Mobo would then prolly want matching RAM (2700min) and maybe a T-Bred CPU or Barton.

Actually, in the past week or so, XP2400 prices have dropped, and PC2700 memory is getting a lot less pricy.

Several of the new nForce2 M/Bs qualify as best bang for the buck right now. and the 2100+ Tbred "B" is a clear winner, price-wise, also.

And how about 1GB of PC2700 for $110?
I'd say that has nearly dropped into the cellar.

In the past I asked should I upgrade my video card and was given a reply similar to this.... skip at least one generation to get the best upgrade value...

if you have>upgrade to
Geforce>GF3
GF2>GF4/8500
GF3>FX/9700
GF4>NV40/RV350

and I'd say apply this applies to cpus as well.
