Schools have always done this, to an extent. There's only so far they should go though. Parents need to do this more.

Schools should be forcing discipline and work ethic. NO FUCKING MORALS!

They either get it from their parents or not, but the school is in no position nor should they even be expected to generate morality in a kid.

What they should teach is balance. We should have opportunity and that costs money. And teach motivation to excel and that's money at end of your struggles.

We can have schools for adults to be properly educated on the importance of working for a better society. Those who are able body and can't learn the importance of society over self, can simply be done away with.

Schools should be babysitting and handing out mood control drugs like candy. If a kid gives every indication of not wanting to learn then just throw them in the remedial classes and drug them to the gills. Stop demanding that teachers do what no one can do.

No it won't work. Man's natural state is absence of oppression. e.g. liberty and they don't do well when that is exploited. Society regresses, people do absolute minimum to get by until society falls apart. Not to mention you'd never get Americans to go along with it who have already tasted liberty.

I'd be more happier if proper logic and reasoning skills (along with the ability to pick out flawed or false arguments) would be taught before anything else that is not the basic 3 R's.

It's not about ideals, its about nature. The weak and just plain unlucky need to die for the good of the species and the ecology. It doesn't matter what your ideals are, how intelligent you are, or anything like that. Nature loves variety, but she doesn't tolerate weakness and bad luck.

A hundred years ago or so this wasn't a problem. Native Americans would strip granny of her possessions and let her die. The old would either fend for themselves or die. The sick and the weak and the just plain unlucky would die. Now we either get rid of some of the technology that's keeping them alive, kill them ourselves, or pay the price.

But it's not a better world. Just look back in history. It's a total fail.

So far, the best we have been able to achieve is capitalism with mild socialistic undertones which offers great wealth and prosperity almost to the bottom of society. (Europe, Canada and to some extent USA)
