I don't think jihadists are downplayed in any way, but teahdists are much greater threats overall to America than any terrorist could ever be. Jihadists can only annoy America, teahadists are actively trying to tear it apart based on some ridiculous notion they have of freedom and democracy.

Yet I'll bet most if not all of the Republicans that voted against the CR will be reelected next year. Funny, the Dems had the House and Senate till 2010 ending 4 years of their domination. In 5 years, the Hispanics will be voting Republican as they have no natural affinity to the Dems.
I do have a friend who did the Obama Care. Turns out he is eligible for Medicaid and another added to the Health Dole.

I am not sure where you got this utterly false information, but let me explain something to you:

Hispanics, like Blacks, outright favor the social conservatism that you get with republicans (anti-abortion, anti-gays, pro religion, etc).

Regardless, they continue to vote overwhelmingly in favor of Democrats because democrats favor social programs that overwhelmingly aid minority groups.
Also, the republicans being overwhelmingly anti-immigration? How the ever loving fuck do you think this gives hispanics a "natural affinity" to Republicans? Not sure what kind of fantasy opinion pieces you are reading that give you these ideas, but they are doing you no service.

In the end, any person is going to put aside their personal agreements with one group if the other is offering them a sense of economic stability.

Besides that, Hispanics are pretty sure that Repubs' voter suppression efforts aren't aimed at white people. It's not like Repubs have been canvassing their neighborhoods registering them to vote or welcome them to the Party in anything more than token ways, either.

Hell, the current direction of Repubs is to eat any of their own who don't express the proper ideological purity, and has been for some while, like decades.
