...it is to a large part because there is an "abnormal" high amount of incredibly stupid people in the US.
I know, I know. Using a word like "stupid" may sound like a generalization based on bias, may be interpreted as "well, you call them stupid just because they have a different opinion than you?"
But no, I mean it. SHOULD Trump win, it is because of (many of) these actual and very real stupid people.
I am talking about these people who for example somewhere on the net read about this leaked email where they mentioned the "Spirit Cooking" event. The people who are now saying that Clinton is a baby eating Satanist who rides on a broom stick and "talks to spirits" <- these people REALLY do exist
The people who say Hillary is "criminal", "guilty" and "needs to executed", even after two FBI investigations cleared her. (Actually, there was only one "investigation" which already concluded this past summer, but, well...)
The people who seriously claim Trump is a "honest" man, despite his 4000 lawsuits and one lie after the other, refusal of tax release return, Melanoma's refusal of her records and lying about it etc.
The people who say Trump is "ethical", while he uses foul language never heard before from a person in politics and spends hours insulting anyone who doesn't agree with him.
The people who believe a Youtube "doctor" who "diagnoses" any type of illness known to man based on YT clips.
The list is endless.
If Trump wins, it would mean that more of such stupid people in the US must exist than "normal" people although this is of course simplified (because electoral college, voter motivation etc..)...but you get the idea.
And I fear I will lose the rest of respect I had for America and its people, and I don't want this to happen. I don't want proof handed that America is indeed gone batshit stupid, or at least such a significant portion of people that it is election deciding. So for god's sake I hope really this won't happen.
