This was the discussion on the role of women between two Muslim clerics at a conference near Paris. I wonder if they brought up Ray Rice, and whether he was entitled to beat a woman before actually marrying?

It got more interesting when two women shed their burka's and went topless. Then the women rushed the stage, grabbed the microphones and started to protest. The French police had to rescue the women who were roughed up by about 15 religious and pious followers.

Another win for diversity and multiculturalism. Remember, no culture's values are superior to any other!

According to Ms Shevchenko, some of the men shouted “dirty whores” and “kill them”. She thanked the police for protecting the two women, who were taken into custody.

Maybe you and I differ on the meaning of "roughly bundled".

I'm unaware of the word "bundled" being used to describe a verbal insult or even a threat (if it happened; you're using a representative of the women's side). You're saying that the police custody was voluntary, i.e. they were being protected and not arrested for creating a disruption?

Some dude was kicking one of them that was already on the floor.

Yeah, that didn't look so good, although it appeared to be the scrawny guy in the white shirt doing the kicking, and a couple other guys then pulled him away from the woman. No problem with security physically escorting them off of the stage though.

And apparently it was one man that punched Ray Rice's girlfriend -- I guess it doesn't count as an attack if it's less than, what, 10 men. How many men kicking a woman does it take to matter?
