Shouldn't the Pentium 840EE be Going against a Dualcore FX

AMD still have room left for Mhz increases. 90nm will see 3 Ghz for sure (FX 59). 3 Ghz single opterons are on the map for Q1 2006, so this is sign theres room left. 65nm work IBM will help them a bit more, Id say 3.4 Ghz is tops for the FX. Then if they keep it single core at 45nm who knows.

Well as it look's right now AMD have more clock speed upgrades to give with 90nm 3.0ghz we will see on 90nm like people have said and 65nm I would have to say AMD will figure out a way to 3.6ghz out of the K8 and by the time 65nm is most of there production the K9 or K10 will star to come out. And then they will move 45nm and then who knows what will happen after that.
