I just got an email back from them a week after I sent them the email.
Their response seems like a generic reply and doesn't seem to address the fact that I COMPLETELY destroyed my headphones. The rep is still talking about defect and warranties.

Thanks for your interest in the Shure Isolated Earphones, and Personal Audio Equipment. If you are experiencing difficulties using your Shure product or, You feel your equipment has a defect, we recommend you return your Audio Equipment to Shure Service US for replacement.
The In-Warranty policy is two years purchased from any Authorize Shure Dealer.
If your Personal Audio unit is out of warranty there?s a service fee based on the model.
Please return to Shure Incorporated Service Department located in Niles IL.for repair or replacement.
Include name ,phone number, address ,and all purchasing documents.
The process information for returning your Isolated Earphones is listed at,

The turn around time for earphone replacement is approximately ten business days.
We do apologize for all inconveniences.
