Oh man God of War looks so much better than it did last E3, and last E3's presentation of God of War was the biggest reason I bought a PS4, and I'm happy to see an early 2018 release date. I'm disappointed there was no Bloodborne II announcement, but the Horizon Zero Dawn DLC at Yellowstone is going to be a must buy, especially since it's confirmed for 2017. The remaster of the remaster of Shadow of the Colossus looks interesting too.

God of War does look great as usual and Spiderman actually looks really really awesome but I still haven't been blown away by anything from anyone at this E3. Lots of solid games but nothing that surprised me since we knew of pretty much every big game for a while.

I don't care much about Spiderman but God of War looks killer. It looks even better graphically than Uncharted 4. And the Days Gone preview looked pretty great too. I'm just sad that game looks like it might be early 2019 since they didn't give a date.

Yeah God of War looks absolutely incredible. I cannot wait to play that game. Everything about it just looks fantastic and it is about as far from "more of the same" as you can get.

Yeah me too. There were no real surprises. Everything I'm interested in was already known. I did see that they pushed the release of Shenmue 3 into the 2nd half of 2018. Was originally supposed to be this holiday.

Oh man I've been dying for a new god of war game. I also have shadow of the Colossus on PS2 but I never played much of it so I'm going to be interested in that one too.

I didn't watch any of the E3 coverage but it looks like these are two games I'll definitely want to get.

I know most of those titles are for early 2018 but by that time I'm sure we will get delays.

At the same time I do agree, it's been a lot of remastered games lately. But as long as they are the classics everyone should experience, I can't really complain too much.

They didn't really have anything new to announce. I thought Days Gone looked good. I was hoping God of War would be Fall 2017, but "early 2018" sounds like it might even be pushed into Q2 2018. Spiderman looked great, except for all the quick time events. What the hell has Sucker Punch been doing? They haven't released a game in 3 years.

I remember days gone was supposed to be out by now but I stopped following what happened to it. That's going to be a title I'll be looking forward to.

I'll definitely be buying the horizon dlc. I think I'm finally on the last mission in that game. I have one more errand to run before I go do the final level.

Days Gone was just announced at last E3, and they never put a date on it. I don't think they even mentioned it at PSX in December. I'm pretty disappointed that Sony won't have a major exclusive launch in the Fall for the 4th straight year.

Seems they have just conceded fall to Call of Duty and the Dice games. I like those games okay, but not enough to buy them at full price at launch. Most of the big Sony exclusives, are worth buying at launch.

It's not a remaster though. It's a remake. Still, I assume you mean new IPs are better. I was hoping it was a proper sequel when I realized what game it was.

The fact that Bluepoint Games was mentioned, makes me question if it really is a remake. Everything Bluepoint has done in the past has been a port or remaster.

I wonder how well the melee will work in God of War now that it is switching to the over the shoulder perspective. So far from what I have seen, it looks like the camera will stay over the shoulder unlike in Shadow of Mordor and the Arkham games where the camera zooms out during a fight and the player character can be facing the camera or side on to the camera.

COD WWII looked pretty great too last night. That trailer got me excited for a Call of Duty game for the first time in years.

I was pretty disappointed. They didn't announce many new games, and didn't show enough of the maybe interesting games to really grab me. God of War looks amazing, but I want to see more of how it actually plays. Kratos is a terrible character, so hopefully they've done something to make him better. Spiderman looked cool, but the number of quick time events in that demo make me worry about how much cool stuff you'll actually be able to do outside of those events. Both of those games could be awesome, but I'm not sold yet.

The PSVR section made me think that thing is going the way of Kinect. When the highlight of their presentation for VR is a port of a 6 year old game that wasn't designed for VR, it's hard to get excited.

I thought that game felt like a mess on PS2 with the framerate always in the 20s. I got the PS3 remaster though since it looked pretty faithful to the original while being able to play at 30 fps. I doubt I'll buy the remaster of the remaster since it looks way too different.

SoC was on PS3... I'd consider that the remastered version. There's only so much you can do with an older game not meant for higher resolution and draw distance.
