Shuttle AK31A Beep Codes: What do they mean?

Hi everybody. I am having quite a bit of difficulty with my family's computer which has a Shuttle AK31A mobo (the rev3.1 that has KT266A). It's quite a long story, but right now what is going on is that it is beeping through the PC Speaker and I have yet to find out what this particular code means. What it is is that it is essentially a stead beeeeeeeeeeeeeeepppppppp for 3-4 seconds. At the moment, it jsut repeats that when the PC is turned on (no POST or anything).

I am thinking that it is memory related (I trhink that it does the same thing when there is no memory installed in any of the slots). But, can anybodyu direct me to a site that will help me or does anybody have any info about it? We did go out and buy a brand new stick of Crucial PC2100 but there is no difference between my old stick (which happened to be also Crucial PC2100) and new stick. (Both are 256MB CL2.5). Some other weird stuff was goig on with it but for the past 4-5 days it has been pretty steady that all it does when turned on is this beep. Hey, long time no see I had that board, first Shuttle I ever bought and it was an amazing price/performer, being priced far lower than almost any new board except the K7S5A but with overclockers in mind :beer: Anywho, it's probably either the PSU or the board died since you already tried new ram, mine had the same long steady beep code when it went belly up and after swapping everything out it still persisted. I presume you have already cleared the CMOS, reseated everything, and made certain all fans are spinning?

if you search yahoo or google for somethin glike bios beeps you will find some sites that tell you what those beeps mean from certain mobos, i came across a 3-4 sec beep that keep repeating on my is7, same no post, and i found out that it meant the ram was lose... a little pressure on the ram later and everything was fine...

Yea, DAPUNISHER, it has been a long time. Thanks for the suggestion (you too oddlink) I last week had taken the video, CPU and RAM out, unplugged the plug and cleared the CMOS. I honestly have been beginning to think that the board did go somehow. There was some weird stuff going on. Maygbe I'll come back and post it later.
