Hey this is damn hot!! But you I saw this board 4 months back at 63 @ googlegear. But since then it was in the 70s. So this is definitely hot..

btw the Non-ultra version is selling for $2 cheaper. Excaliber has it for $55 + shipping = $60 Text

You dont really want to go the non-ultra way for $2. ..It is not worth it and accupc is a very good reseller.

Just out of curiosity... is this one of the Shuttle boards that have no "Reset CMOS" jumper?

I'm not 100% positive on this, but I think this board auto-resets the bios setup if things get set to a point where the system is non-bootable.

I'm pleased with my AN35N, I got it when it was $71 shipped, but I got overnight shipping for $92

It has a reset jumper, it is a nice performer for it's price, but it dosen't carry some of the extras that other more expensive nforce2 boards have (firewire/sata/raid/soundstorm) but if you don't need those features it's just as good. It also has a wide range of options for overclocking.

Ultras have Dual-channed DDR. Non's have Single-channel.

Ultra 400 is the nvidia chipset on the motherboard. Means that this board can supposrt 400MHz FSB. It will probably handle the duron 750. But why dont you get a XP1700 for another $45? They are so cheap and you will be surprised with the HUGE performance improvement for $45.

Hmm...thats tempting to get a new XP chip. Im putting together a little server computer/gaming computer. That would give me the power i need....

This place is gonna make me broke.

Well I could get this board for ~62,
I have a stick of 512 Memory.....
Athlon Processor (1700 would be the best route? Does that o/c well?) and ill need a fan for about ~60

Just need a cheap hd and a video card w/ TV out...

Any suggestions on what flavor Athlon to go with? 1700 the best route nowadays?

This board was down as low as $53 dollars just a few months ago. I posted about it back then and nobody seemed to think it was a good deal. My how times have changed... :disgust:

Anyway, I have built about 2 dozen systems with this board and have been 150% satisfied with them. I just wish Shuttle made a nice SFF system...oh, wait a sec.

I just got this board and installed it today. Works great, good price, good overclocking features. It does have the reset CMOS jumper BTW, along with the ability to bounce back to relaxed CPU parameters so you usually don't have to use it(though when I was finding out how high I could overclock my system today, it wouldn't boot at certain speeds and required the CMOS to be reset).
