I love NASA tv. jus twish it was in HD.

but its neat to see what they do to prepare to launch. it has to be insane to be sitting there in gear waiting to lift off.

I went and saw it NOT take off yesterday.

Have no desire to repeat that today since the chances of take off are even lower than yesterday.

At NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the countdown clock has paused for 45 minutes at the T-9-minute mark. This is the final built-in hold for today's countdown to liftoff of space shuttle Endeavour on its STS-127 mission.

The countdown is going relatively smoothly, with no technical issues in work. Although launch managers and weather officials are monitoring weather conditions around the launch area and Shuttle Landing Facility very closely, liftoff remains scheduled for 6:51 p.m. EDT.

Watch for countdown clocks to resume ticking backwards at 6:42 p.m. when the T-9-minute hold is released.

One day I am going to watch a launch in person. I need to hurry up with that though, the last launch is coming pretty soon isn't it ?
The reason for this launch isn't too exciting, they are adding a porch to the station, guess they want to lounge around and catch some rays !

Weather seems rather bad near the cape.

Yesterday we just watched the thunderclouds roll in right before launch. Got really dark right before they cancelled the thing, sad.
