Hello,
I have a client with a 2.8Ghz P4 Shuttle SB51G (barebones) computer. No overclocking, no 3D games, just Windows programs. It runs fine, but they are concerned with the noise it makes. The fan which is in it, is a Sunon 80mm fan that usually stays around 2400 RPM. It only throttles up if the temperatures raises above a preset level. What I want to do is replace this fan with a high-quality, super quiet fan that can idle around 2400, but should have a top speed of ~3500. It is 3-pin and it would be nice if it could report its RPM to the Bios. Of course it also has to be 80mm. So, with those constraints in mind, can anybody help me out?
As usuall, any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Eric
