I have a Shuttle SS51G with a P4 2.4 533bus chip with a Radeon 9800pro and I think it needs some better cooling.
The CPU and PSU get a bit toasty, but i'm generally ok with that, but the vid card gets really hot , or so i'm guessing. I can put my hand on the side of the case and it's extremely hot over the spot where the Vid fan/hs is located. There's about 0.5-1inch of air bettween case and vid card.
Here's a pic of the case (not mine, but close enough) http://properganda.net/cube/DSCN2642.JPG
It's about 1.5-2inches on from the rear in the middle of the case.
I was wondering if maybe getting a 80mm fan and cutting the case and screwing the fan so it blows inward would be worth it, It's kinda noisy as is though.
This pic gives and idea of where the vid card is in relation (I know it's not a Radeon in the pic) http://properganda.net/cube/DSCN2637.JPG
Any suggestions?
