I just got a samsung 710t with a 6800gt man they go nicely but i was looking at the doom3 benchmarks and they were getting a helluva lot faster fps than i am with the same card. Does ram really make that much of a difference for res...i got 512...thinkin of goin with 1gb

Ram definitely makes a difference, especially in new games. I just tried Far Cry with 512mb and got little more than a slideshow in the reso & settings that play silky-smooth with a gb.

For an Ultra, maybe, but not a GT. I have a GT in my Shuttle, and it's running quite fine on its 220W PSU. You'll find a lot of others who are running GTs in their Shuttles just fine as well. As for the Ultra, I can't say.

For an Ultra, maybe, but not a GT. I have a GT in my Shuttle, and it's running quite fine on its 220W PSU. You'll find a lot of others who are running GTs in their Shuttles just fine as well. As for the Ultra, I can't say.

GT is not too far behind the Ultra. In addition, you are running a 220psu. 20watts over the OP isn't much, but with that card, it is cutting it close either way. There is a link for the GT's power readings out there but unfortunately, I lost the link.

Needless to say, the GT and Ultra have very similar power readings.

You either need to precache or run the benchmark twice, ignoring the first run, if you want to compare your scores to review sites.
