I love Canada, I go there almost every year for vacation. I've seen Buffalo and Canada when crossing the border. It's like "Now leaving Hell [USA]. Welcome to Heaven [Canada]". Yeah I agree America is dirty and I too don't know why the we don't clean it up. "Apathy is the glove in which evil slips its hand into". That's the bottom line, America is just lazy and we say we care but do we really? Heck no. Don't get me wrong, I love my country for a few reasons but I despise it all the same for other reasons.

I say all countries have their pros and cons so it'd be idiotic to compare. I can admit that Canada is probably WAY cleaner than the US because you don't have as many people. I don't know, I'm not picking sides simply because that will only stir up dissension obviously. So I suggest you just calm down and quit complaining. How about some coexistence huh?

there's a TON of cottages in the area owned by americans that come here in the summer. most of the ones i've dealt with are pretty decent.

I live on the border, and spent significant time in both countries. Probably more than most of you.

Bottom line is you cannot compare the two countries.
The population difference is too great.
Compare New York, or California to Canada.

Canadians are like the backseat drivers of the world. And their sense of entitlement even sickens me.
